9. I didn't pay my water bill. Why was my water cut off?

Delinquent accounts are a significant expense to the High Gabriel Water Supply Corporation. Much time and effort goes into re-billing and collecting delinquent accounts. If an account is not paid in full the unpaid balance is added to the following month's bill, plus a late fee. If the following month's bill is not paid in full, a cut-off notice is sent to the customer. If the bill is not paid in full by five days after the cut-off notice is sent, water service may be cut off to that customer. Service will not be restored until the amount due is paid in full, plus any late fees, plus a reconnection fee of $100.00. If service has been terminated, payment must be made by cash only.
